Overview
Bachelor of Education or B.Ed. is an undergraduate program of 2-year duration.The course specifically caters to the students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and related fields. It is a skill based training program which imparts knowledge to students regarding all aspects of classroom teaching..
The minimum eligibility criterion for B.Ed. admission is the completion of an undergraduate degree course in any discipline.
Bachelor of Education [B.Ed.] course is an undergraduate professional degree that prepares students to work as teachers in schools. The B.Ed. degree is necessary for teaching at the secondary (classes 6 to 10) and higher secondary (classes 11 and 12) divisions.

Our Aim

- To provide guidance to individual pupil teacher.
- To develop an understanding of aim and objective of education in the Indian background and to promote an awareness of the role of the school and the teacher in realizing these aim and ideals.
- To develop and understanding of the close relationship between society and school, between life and social work.
- To build up a professional consciousness.
- To develop ability to use individualized instruction, organize various school programmes and activities for pupils/students
- To develop ability to access the all round development of pupil and to maintain a cumulative record.
- Developing certain practical skill such as-Black Board work, Preparing improvised apparatus, Preparing Teaching aid & ICT
Scheme of B.Ed. Two years Examination
The B.Ed. (Two years) will consist of the following components;
Part I- Main theory papers at B.Ed. Part I & II
Part II- School internship of 20 weeks (4weeks at B.Ed. part I & 16 weeks at B.Ed. part II) in B.Ed. part-I paper no. 01, 02, and 07 a/b are of three hours carrying 100 marks (80 for theory + 20 for sessional) each. Paper 04, 05, 06a and EPC-I & 2 are of 2 hours each carrying 50 marks (35 theory + 15 sessional) each.
In B.Ed. Part- II paper 07 a/b, 09 & 11 are of 3 hours carrying 100 marks (80 for theory + 20 for sessional) each. Paper 6 b, 08 10 and EPC 4 are of two hours carrying 50 marks (35 theory +15 sessional) EPC-3 in part II carry 100 marks out of which 50 marks will be allotted for practical and 50 marks for theory. EPC3 theory paper will be of two hours.
SUPW Camp/Open air session will be totally internal. It has five components of 100 Marks (minimum passing marks 40%) and not less than three days shall be devoted for it by the institution.
Practical/Internship part will be devided in both the years and it will carry 450 marks.

· Candidate must have graduate or post graduate (With 50% general category, 45% SC/ST/OBC & Other category) in any discipline and must qualify Pre teacher entrance test (PTET)
· Eligible candidates get the allotment of the college trough counselling then these candidates report to respective college.
